A Milwaukee rock band started by Mike Sandler, Kevin Stelter, and myself. Playing in Social Famine was probably the most fun I've ever had in an original rock band and I stepped up on vocals for the first time. We recorded an EP in Whitewater, WI at the university on some weekend, which was a pretty funny experience, but we got some good tracks out of it. Thanks to Kevin's brother, we have a few songs recorded and an incredible DVD of our live performance at The Shorewood Legion Hall. And we sold out Treats (although no selling was actually involved). A special thanks also needs to go out ot Kevin's parents, who let us rehearse in their basement every Sunday.
Our original bio:
"Formed in 2004 by Mike, Kevin, and Sam, Social Famine have created a unique musical style that must be seen to be heard. Each member brings years of experience, pure talent, raw animal instinct, and five cans of non-perishable items to what would otherwise be a really shitty band. There are very few bands that can match the quality and quantity of rocking done by Social Famine. Touring has begun in the Southeastern Wisconsin area and the band is currently recording its new LP."
